VIII. Langos Fest

You are warmly invited to the festival of the traditional dish Lángos, which will take place in Gaberje.

Under the auspices of the Gaberje Tourist Association near Lendava, the Gaberje Local Community, and in cooperation with other associations, the Lángos Festival will take place next to the village hall in Gaberje, including a competition for the best Lángos.
Lángos is believed to have come to the Prekmurje region many years ago from neighboring Hungary, particularly to ethnically mixed areas. It is a traditional homemade dish that has already become established in Prekmurje and is expected to be protected in the future as a culinary trademark of the region.
